Question Description

I need support with this Literature question so I can learn better.

Topic: Examine the way narrative elements are used in either Gilgamesh or “A Jury of her Peers”. Ideas to consider (you don’t have to address all of these, this is just to get the ideas flowing):

How does the narrative use elements such as pacing, irony, and dialogue to create sensations such as tension, suspense, or relief?

Do the characters change as a result of things that happen in this story? How do those changes occur?

Where in the story do plot elements such as the exposition, rising action, climax, and resolution fall? What effect does the placing of these elements have on the story’s effectiveness for you as a reader?

“A Jury of Her Peers”, Susan Glaspell (Norton, pp. 596-611)
