To prepare:

In this Assignment, you will read the Richardson (2006) article on stewards in your Learning Resources. You will become a steward of the discipline as you transition through your PhD program.

A key part of becoming a steward of the discipline is to contribute new knowledge to your field. You will do this with your dissertation research.Post the following:

Share how you believe that you can best accomplish this expectation of becoming a steward of the discipline.

Describe at least two potential pitfalls or challenges that you may face in accomplishing this goal.

Describe your personal learning network and how you plan to expand it as you begin to develop plans for your research agenda.
